Los Tonales tour
Departure at 7:30 a.m. We will pick you up from your hotel on Isabela Island and head towards the port of Puerto Villamil, where we will board a boat for a tour of the wild environment of Los Tonales. In a 40 minute cruise to the place, an amazing area of rocks and lava arches above the water, we will go down to tour some rocky hills where we can see penguins. This place is a marine sanctuary consisting of rocks and impressive geological formations created by volcanic lava. Immediately upon our arrival we will walk along the rocky surface and observe the carob trees, cacti and palo santo. In addition, We will see the nests of the blue thief, the flamingos and the albatrosses.
Then, we’ll put on our snorkeling gear and jump into the water to admire the impressive underwater spaces and arches. It is likely that manta rays, lobsters, turtles and sea lions will accompany us on the expedition.
After enjoying this natural paradise of the Galapagos Archipelago, we will board the boat and depart for your hotel on Isabela Island.
