San Andrés Island is a Colombian island in the Caribbean Sea, located off the coast of Nicaragua. It is the largest island region that forms part of the San Andres, Providencia and Santa Catalina archipelago with a total area of 260 square miles (676 square kilometers), making it the largest island in the country.

The archipelago is located about 470 miles (750 kilometers) north of mainland Colombia.
